Foxtrot Magic Dragon (Puff)
No, it’s not a Border Collie! Puff is a British Spotted Miniature Horse who I have already started clicker training and my idea is to have Mega and Puff performing together. Puff is just 28 inches high and 2 years old.
Down Yonder Charlies Sparkling Star (Champers)
My second miniature horse, Champers, is an American miniature palomino and arrived on 18th June 2010. Champers is 33 ¼ inches and will be a little driving horse and for my grandchildren to ride while they are small. Champers is 2 years old.
Blackmins Red Rock Red and Rowdy (Rowdy)
Rowdy is a 3 years old black and white pinto, American miniature and is 34 inches. I had Rowdy part trained in England to drive so he will be an exciting prospect for the summer. He has a lovely nature and is going to be a joy to train. Rowdy has already been shown and has won prizes for movement.
Blackmins Wild Beauty (Kiwi)
Kiwi is 10 months and is a British miniature and is an absolute baby so we are starting from scratch with Kiwi. Kiwi is at the moment 28 inches and should mature to about 28/29 inches, his sister is 28 inches. He is just so cute.
Obedience World Cup Team
Due to the above, and three beautiful grandchildren, I have given up being the Team Manager for the Obedience World Cup Competition. Despite all sorts of hassles and difficulties (and I’m not talking dogs), I have thoroughly enjoyed my time as Team Manager and meeting up with all the other teams, they are all a very good bunch of people. Sue Garner and the organising team at Crufts do a wonderful job.
I understand that there will not be a team representing Jersey for 2011. I do find this quite unbelievable and sad.
